It seems as if when I first started writing entries at age twenty-one my creativity was boundless. Suddenly as some years went by my creativity comes out in spurts. For those that don't know what this is it's simply called writer's block. Do I enjoy being in this condition? No. Do I have to deal with this condition? Yes sir.
The people I went to for advise were no other than writers themselves. Slam poet Saul Williams once said in an old video of his that when he is struck by writer's block he listens to some music. Other writers scroll through their old works. Surprisingly when the writing bug hits me I get my pen and notebook and go at it.
One could only guess that being young in a craft has it's limits.
Working on this particular blog series comes with it's own challenges as well. My purpose for this blog was to display my beliefs and opinions regarding the current state of Black Hollywood, Politics, and everything in between (both personal and otherwise). Ideas and topics must be placed n order. Currently speaking I would say so far so good.
Regarding future endeavors I would most likely not want to be put in this condition. However, nothing is guaranteed. I would like to encourage others to find ways to push through and seek easy methods to challenge creative blocks. Until further notice cheerio.
